Karen Anderes has served Adrian Day Asset Management since 1998, primarily as Assistant to Adrian Day, in a multi-faceted capacity. In addition to handling compliance administration and supporting Ms. Schlegel in attending to client needs and requests, she organizes Mr. Day’s travel and seminars, speaks with potential clients, updates the websites, and prepares marketing materials. Mrs. Anderes has a B.A. from University of Maryland. After hours, she enjoys spending time with her family, woodworking, organic produce gardening, and in various athletic pursuits including biking, skiing, golfing, and running.
Michelle Rodriguez joined Adrian Day Asset Management in 2020 as Portfolio Accounting Associate. She performs all accounting duties including billing fees and vendor negotiations. She assists the Operations Department and communicates with brokers to resolve fee issues. With over 20 years of experience in firm operations and client service, Ms. Rodriguez manages day-to-day accounting responsibilities that support the firm’s corporate commitment to clients and management. On her time off, she can be found with a book in hand, in nature or with her dear family.
Cyndi Schlegel has been an integral part of the team since 2003 and has enjoyed developing relationships with our valued clients throughout the years. She enjoys handling all aspects of client account setup, changes, and private placement paperwork as well as researching and responding to client inquires. She communicates with brokerage firms on clients’ behalf and assists the Operations Department. Residing in sunny Florida, she delights in the water, boating, gardening and time with family and friends.
Prior to joining Adrian Day Asset Management as an Associate in 2019, Rafael Santiago was an Investment Analyst for the Liberty Group, a hotel and real estate investment company. He also worked as an Economic Analyst for Puerto Rico’s largest media company GFR Media. Mr. Santiago holds two Masters’ Degrees in Economics and Finance, with a specialization in Monetary Policy and Banking. After hours, he enjoys basketball, baseball and tennis as well as travel, films and the beautiful Puerto Rican beaches.
Emily Day began providing administrative support to the Operations Department at Adrian Day Asset Management in 2018. She holds a Bachelors from University of Mary Washington and Masters from North Carolina Central University. Additionally, a lifelong horsewoman, Ms. Day resides with her husband on a Virginia farm, where she cares for her three horses and six cats.
